Samantha Womack has been providing Oliver Farnworth with handy advice for life on a soap
Emmerdale 's Oliver Farnworth is soaking up all the wisdom he can from his partner, EastEnders legend Samantha Womack, who played Ronnie Mitchell for a decade. The couple has been together for three years and their relationship provides Oliver with plenty of insights into the world of soaps.
Oliver has spoken highly of Mark, saying, "Mark is a good friend," and recalling advice he received when joining the soap: "When I got offered , Mark told me it was a great job. He was full of praise for the place."Before his role in Emmerdale, Oliver was no stranger to soap drama, having played Andy Carver in Coronation Street, where his character notably died twice at the hands of villain Pat Phelan.
Oliver Farnworth recently spoke about his stealthy arrival on the set of Coronation Street for covert filming. Chatting with ITV's This Morning, the actor disclosed, "A lot of people thought I was rolled up in the carpet but that was him disposing of the carpet because it had my blood and DNA and things on it, but you never saw a body and that is something that has baffled quite a lot of people.
His roles extend beyond soaps, including a well-received turn in the stage adaptation of "The Girl on the Train," where he met Samantha. He also appeared on ITV's period drama Mr Selfridge.
