Emmerdale 's Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) is left reeling when Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) proposes they start a family, according to a spoiler video for this week. Amy's desire to have a child of her own stems from caring for Frankie, leading her to confide in her mother-in-law Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb). Encouraged by Moira's words, Amy seizes the opportunity to speak with Matty when she surprises him with a tour of Dale View.
Amy, excited about the prospect of starting a family, blindsides Matty by taking him to see a recently vacated cottage that Kim Tate (Claire King) is renting out. He is perplexed by her sudden change of plans, as they had previously agreed to save for a deposit on their own place.
