Michelle shared support for her wife’s new role Emmerdale star Michelle Hardwick has shared a sweet message in support of her wife, Kate Brooks, who is set to take over as the new Coronation Street boss in April. The Vanessa Woodfield actress took to Instagram to share the exciting news with her 128k followers, and reveal how proud she is of the former Emmerdale producer. ‘PROUD WIFE ALERT,’ she began, with a love heart emoji.
Kate is set to take over the role of Corrie Producer from Acting Producer Verity MacLeod, who recently took over from Iain MacLeod. Michelle and Kate tied the knot in 2019 During her time working at Emmerdale, Kate was responsible for producing award-winning storylines alongside Laura Shaw and former Executive Producer Jane Hudson. In recent months, Kate has produced Paddy Kirk’s mental health storyline, as well as Chas Dingle’s breast cancer diagnosis.
