Emmerdale stars Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden have listed their stunning Harrogate home for sale at £900,000 following the end of their five-year marriage. The couple, who share three children - Buster, 14, Bowie, 9, and Ace, 5 - lived together in the beautifully finished four-bedroom house complete with a spacious outdoor summer house and expansive back garden.
Their separation was publicly announced on Instagram last November with a heartfelt message that read: 'It is with love and respect that Matthew and I have decided to separate. We remain friends and our priority is the love for our children. For their sake we would appreciate privacy at this time.' Matthew later discussed the separation when he appeared on Loose Women last May. Chatting with host Charlene White, he described the major changes in his life and maintained that despite splitting after his 17-year stint on Emmerdale, he and Charley were still very close. He shared: ''I think we're still finding our way, the good thing is me and Charley we're still best mates. That's fantastic. It's all quite new to us still at the moment but we're still finding our feet, finding a way to do it and do it well. I think we are.'Matthew has moved on and is now dating his 'Elf' co-star Heather Scott-Martin. Facing scrutiny as their romance became public, Matt clarified the circumstances surrounding his previous marriage and current relationship by stating: 'Just to set the record straight once and for all... and hopefully this will be the end of it, and the end of me getting horrible messages on socials, and people saying nasty stuff to me in the street.', reports the Mirror. '1: It was NOT my decision to end my marriage. 2: I met Heather (who I was pictured with in London) way after my marriage ended.' He went on to address the haters: 'Hope this clears stuff up for all the trolls out there,' and underlined his relationship with his ex-wife: 'Oh, and... 3: (and most importantly) Charley and I are still good friends. Our kids are our life and always will be.' The star duo initially met on the set of Emmerdale in 2006, becoming engaged in 2009, weathered a separation in 2013 before reuniting, and finally said 'I do' in a charming Yorkshire ceremony in 2018
