Emmy winning actor Thom Christopher, know for playing villain Carlo Hesser on the long-running soap opera One Life to Live, has died at 84.
Thom Christopher has died at 84 Thom Christopher, who played villain Carlo Hesser on the long-running soap opera One Life to Live, died on Thursday at 84 years old. Christopher died Thursday in a New York hospital, his friend, photographer Steven Bergman, announced. He had been suffering a long illness. Anthony Crivello shared news of his co-stars death in a post on Facebook.
Christopher won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the 19th Daytime Emmy Awards ‘I think that’s what becomes attractive and exciting for an audience to sit and watch. ‘This is what the writers did then for Carlo. They gave him children , and that kicks off something, and it’s always worked within the structure of the story.’ Christopher won his supporting actor Daytime Emmy in 1992 and was also nominated the following year.
