As England Lioness champion Rachel Daly celebrates and gets set for the quarter finals, we take a look at how life is off pitch for the female sporting superstar
They say opposites attract but for these two that isn't quite the case. England Lioness Rachel Daly is loved up and happy with her partner Millie Turner who also happens to share her love for the game.
At first the pair were long distance but it was Rachel's move back to the UK from Texas last year that sealed the deal officially. Both girls are clearly health conscious so it was over to Aston Villa player Rachel to care for Millie last year when she was diagnosed with carotid artery dissection- a rare condition which is a tear in one of the main arteries between the heart and the brain.
She was forced to stop all physical activity, putting pay to any hopes of featuring for her country in their home tournament.
