The Man United boss has laid out exactly what he wants to see from his players this time around.
Erik ten Hag has called on his players to “take revenge” against Nottingham Forest following last weekend’s loss to Tottenham, demanding his Manchester United squad to “do your job”.
Ten Hag is looking to record a fifth win over Forest in his United tenure and has called on his players to step up amid their sluggish start. When asked by club media whether he was looking for improvement from the defeat to Tottenham, the boss responded : “Definitely.”He added: “It’s a matter of do your job and as a team making sure everyone is doing their job. So the togetherness is where we dropped in level in the second half of the games .
United are facing a headache at left-back with both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia sidelined with injuries, leaving debut-less 20-year-old Alvaro Fernandez as the only fit left-sided full-back.
