Ero Copper anticipates an 85-110% surge in copper production to 75,000-85,000 tonnes in 2025, driven by the commencement of commercial production at its Tucumã mine in Brazil. The company also projects continued growth in gold production at its Xavantina mine.
Ero Copper has guided that copper production is expected to increase by 85-110% in 2025 to 75,000-85,000t at a consolidated C1 cash cost of US$1.55-1.80/lb from its operations in Brazil. Its new Tucumã mine in Para is expected to achieve commercial production during the first semester.The company produced 40,600t of copper in concentrate in 2024, closing the year with a record 12,883t in the December quarter.
"Over the coming years, we expect to sustain meaningfully higher production levels across our core assets where we will continue to invest strategically in innovation and in enhancing operational flexibility to improve margins. In parallel, we are focusing our efforts on the step-change growth opportunity we see in Furnas to create long-term value for our shareholders," Ero Copper chief executive Makko DeFilippo said.
