Stephen Kenny makes three changes to the Republic of Ireland side that were narrowly beaten by the Netherlands in their last fixture. John Egan and James McClean was not included in the squad with Celtic defender Liam Scales set to win his first cap in defence and Will Smallbone returning to the starting line-up. Evan Ferguson is back in the squad after injury and comes in for Adam Idah, who drops to the bench. Greece show five changes to the team which comfortably defeated Gibraltar.
Andrea Bouchalakis, Vangelis Pavlidis and Taxiarchis Fountas are dropped to the bench with Konstantinos Koulierakis, Giorgos Giakoumakisde and Petros Mantalos taking their place. Republic of Ireland: Bazunu, Doherty, Duffy, Cullen, Browne, Ferguson, Smallbone, Scales, Knight, Ogbene, Collins. Substitutes: Travers, O'Leary, Manning, O'Shea, Robinson, Idah, Omobamidele, Sykes, Molumby, McGrath, Johnston, Ebosele.
