Man United will be in the draw for today's Europa League group stage after they secured a place in the competition by beating Man City in last season's FA Cup finalside looked set to endure a season without European football after their eighth-place Premier League finish last season. Each club will play eight fixtures in the league phase of the Europa League, playing four games at home and four away. The eight fixtures will be against eight different teams. United will face two teams from each of the four pots, but they cannot, at this stage of the competition, be pitted up against a fellow club from England, meaning they will not be drawn against Tottenham Hotspur.Real Sociedad , AZ Alkmaar , Braga , Olympiacos , Lyon , PAOK , Fenerbahce , M. The top eight sides in the league will qualify automatically for the round of 16, while those that finish 25th or lower will be eliminated. No teams from this season's Champions League will drop into the Europa League at any point.
