Olly Alexander lived behind the Pleasure Beach and visiting most days - now he is representing the UK at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest
Pleasure Beach Resort is bringing a live Eurovision fan zone to Blackpool where UK’s entrant, Olly Alexander, spent his childhood years.
It’s A Sin actor Alexander said he plans to "put it all out there" when he takes to the stage in Sweden later this year. The Years & Years singer, 33, will perform the dance-infused track for the UK during the international song competition in Malmo in May, following the country’s victory at the 2023 contest with the song Tattoo by Loreen.
Shown live from Sweden on the big screens, the event kicks off at 7pm on Saturday May 7 and for £20 per person, guests can expect to experience, a larger-than-life host, a sensational drag show and of course, watch the main event itself - all in the Paradise Room in the resort’s Casino Building.
