Liverpool FC and Everton FC have come together to send their support to those affected by a mass stabbing in Southport . Two children have died as a result of the injuries sustained in the horrific incident. Police arrived at a property on Hart Street at 11.50am today to reports of a stabbing at The Hart Place, where children were enjoying a Taylor Swift dance summer camp . Armed police detained a man and seized a knife.
A 17-year-old boy, from Banks, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody - he will be questioned about the incident, police said. A spokesperson for the force said enquiries are ongoing to establish the motive and urged people not to speculate while the investigation is ongoing.
