The inside track on the football stories that matter
Everton and West Ham look to be in a head-to-head race to hire Graham Potter as their new manager after updates on Sean Dyche and Julen Lopetegui.
Both Everton and West Ham fans have been critical of their teams results and the less than desirable football that is being played on the pitch. The former Real Madrid and Spain boss had struggled to fill the role which David Moyes held before him, and he leaves having been trounced 4-1 against Manchester City .
Potter would likely be the favoured name by fans, attractive football was the lone shortcoming of Moyes’ time in charge and the former Brighton and Chelsea manager would likely create an exciting team built to attack.have previously reported that the Hammers have already been in advanced talks with the Englishman over taking over at the London Stadium.and the Irons see themselves as a team that has everything necessary to be back in European competitions, except for the right manager.
