Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has insisted talk of an independent football regulator questioning the ownership at Newcastle is just “posturing from politicians”., the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – claimed there would be “hell to pay” if the government interfered at St James’ Park.
