A serious injury to Manchester United's new signing Leny Yoro could prompt them to make another move for Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite
As the summer transfer window moves into its final month, Everton ’s resolve over Jarrad Branthwaite could be tested again with Manchester United’s new recruit Leny Yoro having been ruled out for around three months with a foot injury. Yoro limped off in the 35th minute of the 2-1 pre-season friendly defeat to Arsenal in the early hours of Sunday at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, after lengthy treatment and was then seen using crutches and wearing a protective boot on his left foot.
Although the 22-year-old has been playing with a slight groin issue and has yet to feature for Everton so far in pre-season, the club are actively planning to have him with them for 2024/25 unless a mega offer comes in.
