Farhad Moshiri has received interest from potential new bidders looking to strike a deal for Everton if the 777 Partners takeover falls through,, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed multiple American consortiums are likely looking at the Toffees as an “interesting” opportunity to invest in a Premier League club.
Standard Liege fans also recently protested against 777’s ownership after the club was placed under a transfer embargo due to unpaid wages and failure to complete other payments. O’Rourke admitted there have been too many red flags surrounding the US company and Moshiri is unlikely to be provided with proof of funds before the deadline at the end of May.
