Yardworks Festival will return to Glasgow this May, with world leading street and graffiti artists descending to the city.
What is Yardworks Festival? Since launching in 2017, Yardworks Festival has become one of the key fixtures in a worldwide street arts scene. For local artists, Yardworks is an opportunity to learn from the very best, gaining inspiration from around the globe, while for audiences, the weekend provides a unique space to be immersed in the culture of urban art, with a range of inspiring and cutting-edge designs on display.
Are there any family-friendly activities? There will be DIY graffiti canvas sessions, with different heights to suit little ones and adults alike – slots will be available for sign up on the day. Additionally, one of the festival sponsors, Heverlee, will be running screen printing classes, while a full programme of artist-led workshops and talks will be held across the weekend, with a focus on female creatives.
