Jon McCracken is in the squad for a Nations League double-header
Jon McCracken has been handed a Scotland call-up for this month's UEFA Nations double-header against Poland and Portugal, following an injury to Kilmarnock's Robby McCrorie.
The 24-year-old from Wishaw has impressed since moving to Dundee on a permanent deal, having been there twice on loan from Norwich City. McCracken is in the squad for the game against Poland on Thursday, and Portugal on Tuesday, October 15, both of which are at Hampden. The talented keeper started his career at Hamilton Accies before moving to Norwich in 2016 but failed to make an impact at Carrow Road and spent several loan spells before signing a two-year deal at Dundee this summer.Though he has seven under-17 caps, McCracken could become the first Dundee player to turn out for Scotland since 2003 when Lee Wilkie and Gavin Rae lined up against the Netherlands.
