Defender Sean McGinty wants points on the board as quickly as possible
Sean McGinty has targeted a win at Morton on Saturday to kick start Hamilton ’s season and get them moving up the Championship.
“But I think the lads can take a lot of real positives from the game and as every game has gone on so far we’ve got better and better.“It’s only one game. I’ve been in the league quite a long time and I think it’s really important, in those first three or four games, to get a couple of wins and get off to a good start.
“I’m sure if we put in a similar performance and take our chances we’ll come out on the right side of the result. “Over the past few seasons, the teams that start well, get points on the board early, tend to stay up there. “But we’ve got really good depth, a fantastic strike force, and I’m sure in the games to come we’ll start putting the ball in the net and making teams really pay.”
