Former Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is a shock target for Japanese side Kashima Antlers after losing his first team spot at Santos.
The Colombian striker is the Brazilian club's highest-paid player even after accepting a pay cut to around half his original £40,000 a week salary after they were relegated to Serie B for the first time ever last year.
And reports in Brazil suggested Morelos was offered to Russian club Krasnodar last month, but they rejected the proposal. He said:"We could not terminate Alfredo Morelos' contract because it would have cost far too much money, therefore we renegotiated a new one.
