Weather maps appear to pin an exact date on when the country could get its first taste of winter snow. WX Charts' weather maps, complemented with data from Metdesk, indicate that the UK might soon experience its initial snowfall of the winter, likely due to the arrival of a La Nina system.
Temperatures near Edinburgh and Glasgow look set to fall beneath 0C. In conversation with Express.co.uk, meteorologist and founder of British Weather Services, Jim Dale, said: "Cold weather in and out again around in early November. not entirely unexpected," reports the Express. He concluded with a general outlook: "All in the melting pot for now, with storms taking precedence over snow events, at least this side of 2025."
