Exciting new Super Soapbox Challenge 2023 is coming to Pendle this June
An exciting new race is set to come to Lancashire this summer, with the Super Soapbox Challenge heading to Colne this summer. On Sunday 18 June, teams can enter their very own vehicles to be raced all the way down Albert Road, from the starting point of a huge ramp outside the Town Hall.
Aneesa added: “I think this is a real feel good thing and it’ll be a good day and if they’re raising money for charity at the same time, it’s even better isn’t it?“ He added: "We do a lot of advance manufacturing and welding, so to get to design a car is quite fancy really. We're using carbon fibre and steel and fancy welding techniques, so it's a chance for them to put all the stuff they've learnt into a real thing."
