News 12 received an exclusive first look at the Long Island stadium that will host eight games at this year's Cricket World Cup.
John Sulinski, and his Long Island-based company Landtek, installed the field and the main pitch where the cricket matches will be played. Getting the right type of grass for the historic event was no easy feat. Stony Brook native Don Lockerbie is the T20 USA Venue development director. He’s part of the organizing committee for the 2024 Cricket World Cup. He hopes bringing cricket to a larger audience in the United States can help the sport grow.
