ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Step Back, Doors Closing teaser trailer for the upcoming romantic comedy film set in Washington, D.C.
Step Back, Doors Closing is directed, written, and produced by Carter Ward. The film stars Carmen Berkeley and Reilly Walters, and follows the story of a man and woman who meet one night on the D.C. metro, and and the subsequent four hours they spend bonding together while exploring their hopes, dreams, and plans for the future.
For those in the area, Step Back, Doors Closing will have its world premiere on June 27, 2024, at the“I am insanely proud of every cast and crew member who helped this intimate, feel-good story cross the finish line,” said director Carter Ward of the project. “If you give this film a chance, I promise you’ll have a smile on your face when the credits roll, and that you’ll understand my admiration for our amazing team.
“After flying from Los Angeles to DC, she manages to break both her phone and tablet. Unable to contact her friend, she gets on the DC metro, unsure where to go next. Over the following twenty-four hours, Ryan and Julisa bond by discussing their hopes, dreams, and fears. Their courtship is universal in that they present their best, most curated selves first, but as they spend more time together, they encounter obstacles that chip away at their armor.
