‘It was almost never going to be a traditional wedding dress,’ Ray began. ‘It was always going to be a bit funky. ‘In episode one Godmother said they’d been travelling in Japan, so I went around trying to look for some lovely scarfs to wrap around her hair,’ Ray explained. ‘I couldn’t find them, so I went down and picked up some Japanese fabrics and I got the scarves made up for the whole series.‘The final wedding one was just a headband and we found the flowers in a garden centre and glued it all together and made it match the kimono top.
‘We knew Fleabag would try and get under a priest’s cassock at some point so we made that as easy to do on camera as possible. ‘I said to Phoebe you can have it all or it can go into storage, so she took as much as she could really. There were a few little pieces that came riding over from series one that they were very fond of.’Kirsten Scott-Thomas’ clothes were the priciestone of the most incredible monologues of the series
