The bar is within Bury town centre's conservation area
Extended plans have been lodged to convert a prime Bury town centre spot into a sports bar and restaurant opening until 4.30am at weekends. Planning permission was granted in May to transform the ground floor of the building on Bolton Street into a late opening bar.
The building is next to the Blind Tiger bar and within Bury town centre conservation area. The application describes the site as ‘arguably the best preserved of Bolton Street’s brick buildings’.
