Parents whose children were treated by disgraced surgeon Yaser Jabbar at Great Ormond Street Hospital claim the independent reports do not reflect the severity of their children's injuries.
Families of children who suffered injuries due to a former NHS surgeon have criticized a report that they claim does not accurately represent what happened while their children were under his care. Yaser Jabbar , 43, treated 723 children at Great Ormond Street Hospital , leaving some with severe injuries and even amputations. He was suspended from the hospital in 2022 and left in 2023 after a report by the Royal College of Surgeons found some of his surgeries to be inappropriate and incorrect.
Independent reports for each of his patients, conducted by surgeons not affiliated with the hospital, have been criticized by families for not reflecting the true experiences of their children
