Popping off to Spain isn't as easy as it once was. Thanks to Brexit, changes have seen longer border force queues in EU countries, blue passports – and now, another new system will be in place.

What are the new rules? The Entry/Exit System is a new system coming in this year for non-EU travellers entering EU countries. This was due to be introduced in from November last year but has been delayed and is expected later in 2025 – although there is no official date yet.To enter Spain, you may also be asked at border control to show you have the following, which are conditions for non-EU members entering Spain:
