Two cars and a handbag containing sets of keys were also stolen
A family have had their Christmas ruined after heartless thieves reportedly stole two cars, a handbag and a number of Christmas presents in the early hours of the morning. The devastated family woke up on Sunday, December 15 to discover the items were missing after thieves had forced their way into the home through the back door.
' According to Phillip, around £1500 worth of items were stolen from under the Christmas tree while his mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law were sleeping upstairs. His mother-in-law's handbag was also stolen, which contained car keys and keys to the property. Following the burglary the family had to change 'every single lock in the house', which reportedly amounted to around £750.
