One-year-old Cavapoo, Timmy A family are ‘devastated’ after their ‘beautiful, happy’ dog was mauled to death in a park. May Barton was walking her twin sister Edna Walker’s dog in Derby Park, Bootle, on March 22. While on her usual route, one-year-old Cavapoo Timmy was viciously attacked by what the family think may have been a ‘Pitbull cross’. May’s niece Tracey, 53, told how the dog was left with a punctured stomach which ultimately led to his death.
’ Tracey’s mum Edna, the dog’s owner, is reportedly ‘devastated’ after the incident. Her daughter said Timmy was loved by the community: ‘He was a beautiful friendly little thing.
