Samantha Rylance, 25, had popped into Asda in Liscard with her partner, Callum, and two children
A family says a cosy night in quickly turned into a 'nightmare' following an accident at their local Asda supermarket.
Speaking about the traumatic event, Samantha explained how Kaelen, aged six, was playing in the aisle before he collided with a roll cage, leaving him with a nasty gash on his head. But she expressed immense gratitude towards the "amazing" Asda staff who rushed to assist the family in need.Describing the chilling moment, Samantha said: "It was a nightmare. He was messing about in the aisle, running up and down.
"I just scooped him up, bearing in mind I'm 23 weeks pregnant, and ran with him. There was a trail of blood behind us, I was screaming for people to move out of our way. We ran to the pharmacy . The woman in the pharmacy stopped serving everyone to help, she was amazing.", reports the Liverpool Echo.
