Iconic Edinburgh landmark The Dome has unveiled its annual Christmas display, with the historic restaurant and bar covered in dazzling lights and festive decorations.
The Dome is situated on George Street inside a historic neo-classical building that dates back to the 1840s. Formerly a bank, today it is a popularNew photographs show the building's most recent festive exhibit. Hundreds of hours were reportedly spent deciding how the Category A-listed building should be decorated.have been wrapped around its Corinthian columns, with wreaths and red bows hung inside arch windows.
It served as the headquarters for the Commercial Bank of Scotland until 1959, when the company became the Royal Bank of Scotland and put the landmark up for sale.
