While many were engrossed by the show's latest instalment, certain viewers couldn't help but spot a trend towards a Love Island aesthetic, suggesting it eroded the show's genuine charm. Disappointed fans immediately took to social media to express their views. Echoing similar sentiments, another stated: "First series was so wholesome... second series- now they know how it works it's like a grown up Love Island.
