Fiorentina have rejected Manchester United's approach for Sofyan Amrabat, it has been claimed.
It had been widely reported that United were attempting to structure a deal for Amrabat with the club’s financial fair play parameters in mind.
And while Amrabat is said to be keen on a move to Old Trafford, a permanent deal ahead of Friday's deadline has been deemed unlikely because of United’s financial fair play situation.Amrabat only has a year left on his current deal with the Serie A club but there is an option to extend by a further 12 months.
And with details of the approach emerging, it is easy to see why Fiorentina snubbed Man Utd's opening bid.
