A Coronation Street star has surprised fans with his famous dad. Luca Toolan has recently joined the ITV soap as Mason, who is Weatherfield High's bad boy.
However, what many fans have not realised is Luca is actually the son of Mike Toolan, a well known radio DJ who presents the drivetime show on Hits Radio alongside former ITV Emmerdale and BBC Strictly Come Dancing star Gemma Atkinson. She went on: "If it’s got good coffee, and good food, and good people Luca, you’ll always want to go back!” Luca has previously stated that when he first got the part on the show, the first person he called was his dad.
"I also rang my Grandma as she is a massive Corrie fan, she didn’t believe it and thought I was pulling her leg!”
