Leeds United were embarrassed at Southampton as they lost 3-1 to Russell Martin's outfit
Daniel Farke and Leeds United got it wrong in so many ways on Saturday, of that there is no doubt. Speed bumps and road blocks can be common and even the most consistent teams in the division can appear erratic at times.
Big games are approaching on the not too distant horizon with trips to promotion rivals Norwich City and Leicester City appearing in the calendar over the next five weeks. They’ll be huge tests of Leeds’ character and credentials once more and the Whites will certainly be looking to take the type of opportunity they missed at St Mary’s on Saturday.
Farke wanted to see a reaction from his players in the second half at St Mary’s and to a certain extent he got one, as Leeds managed kept the Saints at bay and found the back of the net themselves.
