This article features a fashion icon sharing her personal style, prized possessions, favorite experiences, and inspiring figures. She discusses her love for vintage jewelry, her signature hairstyle and glasses, and her passion for infrared saunas. She also reveals her admiration for Carole Lombard, her fascination with AI, and the joy she finds in stand-up comedy.
My personal style signifier is my hair – black and straight with bangs – and my own design of cat’s-eye glasses. Also, the fact that I actually show my age and look natural. I haven’t done anything with fillers or Botox. The place that means a lot to me is Manhattan. I love watching the sun set over the Statue of Liberty and the Hudson River from my window – all the streaks of purple, reds and oranges as the planes land. At street level, I love that you can walk everywhere.
I make my own bread, but I often also order it from Jane The Bakery in San Francisco because theirs is so great. I’ve recently discovered the contrast between the Piscean Age and the new Age of Aquarius. The Aquarian age goes hand in hand with technology, but I really hadn’t realised what it represented in terms of time. The Piscean Age lasted for 2,000 years, so it encompassed Christ, Michelangelo, art, spirituality, religion. The Aquarian Age is entirely different.
