THE Food and Drug Administration on Saturday, August 26, 2023, warned the public against using unregistered condom products available in the local market.
"The FDA verified through post-marketing surveillance that the above mentioned medical device products are not registered and no corresponding CPRs have been issued," said the FDA. The three products include “Olo Ha for Women Climax”, “Olo Ha for Men Zero Condom”, and “Playboy Condoms 0.03.”"Since these unregistered medical device products have not gone through evaluation process of the FDA, the agency cannot assure its quality and safety," it said.
