Millions are suffering economic abuse every year - and there are clear changes needed to help them
? These are lesser-known and often invisible forms of domestic abuse, which often go hand in hand with physical abuse and can ruin lives.
Research from Surviving Economic Abuse found that over five million women have experienced economic abuse in the past 12 months. These are shocking statistics and we must all act to change this for the better. Additionally, we believe that victim-survivors need access to a “Tell Us Once” service, so that they do not have to repeatedly disclose their situation to multiple firms and support agencies, potentially putting them in danger.
