Fire and ambulance crews attended a single vehicle crash.
The incident took place on Stafford Road, at Aqualate, on the Shropshire border, shortly before 5pm.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it had been called to the incident by the ambulance service over concerns that a person was trapped in the vehicle. Two fire crews were sent to the scene, one from Shrewsbury and the other from Newport, but on arrival a man had managed to get himself out of the vehicle.
