At around 8pm last night, July 25, the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service was tasked to the report of a fire within Colin Glen Forest Park, on the Suffolk Road.
While attending the emergency call, the crew's vehicle was attacked, causing significant damage. Belfast Live understands there were no arrests made in relation to the incident.In a statement issued on social media, Police West Belfast shared a photograph of the smashed window of the NIFRS vehicle. "The below damage has been caused to one of their vehicles by a young person, while attending the call," their post read.
