Residents woke up to a 'huge bang' as a car was engulfed in flames. The Scottish Fire and Rescue raced to the scene at around 7.40am on December 13.
Fire crews raced to fight a massive blaze after a car "exploded" this morning on a quiet residential street.
One eyewitness told Edinburgh Live: "I woke up this morning to my dogs barking and banging, looked out my window at around 7.30am and saw a car exploding on fire outside our house in the residential car park. Very shocked to see this in this neighbourhood and at this time in the morning." A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue said: "We received multiple calls regarding a vehicle fire at around 7.40am on Friday, December 13. We have mobilised one appliance and they are still at the scene. There are no casualties."
