Emergency services have rushed to fire at a historic building in Glasgow. Fire crews are currently in attendance at a blaze at the Tontine building in the city after being alerted shortly after 1pm today.
Four appliances are at the scene on Albion Street and crews are currently on the scene working to make the area safe after a fire was extinguished within the structure's ground floor. There are no reported casualties and the area has been cordoned off while emergency services deal with the incident. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 1.07pm on Wednesday, 31 May to reports of a building fire in Glasgow.
