More than 40 firefighters tackled the blaze at Vape Dinner Lady in Blackburn
An investigation has uncovered the likely cause of a huge fire which destroyed a factory in Blackburn.
Residents living nearby were urged to close their doors and windows as plumes of black smoke filled the sky. Several roads were closed off, including Haslingden Road between the M65 and Royal Blackburn Hospital, while firefighters remained at the scene overnight.LancsLive has now obtained the results of the investigation carried out by Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service under the Freedom of Information Act.
"Most importantly, we can report that no one was hurt in the fire and that all our members are safe and well, thanks to the actions of our headquarters team and the local fire and emergency rescue teams. "Currently, our team are engaged in moving production which would have been made in the UK to our other facilities, to minimise any potential disruption which may occur as a result of the fire.
