The daughter of a woman who appeared on Channel 4's First Dates Hotel was 'already dead' when her father drove into a lorry in a suspected murder-suicide, an inquest has heard.
Now an inquest heard how Oria – who may have been killed before the collision – was strapped into her car seat in the front passenger seat when her dad crashed into the lorry, The Sun reports. The inquest, held at Grimsby Town Hall on Wednesday, also heard that it was probable Oria was not alive at the time of the collision although it has not been determined exactly how she died.
At the time, Ashley had recently separated from Oria's mother, Rachael Leader, a former contestant on the Channel 4 show First Dates Hotel. In October last year, the former First Dates Hotel guest shared the "immense sadness" she has felt since the death of her daughter. Mother-of-one Rachael also released a touching tribute to her daughter after the tragic incident. She shared: "To my darling daughter, Oria. I love you so much. I'm so sorry your precious life was taken from you. You gave me so much light sweetheart, so much love and so much happiness.
