Kevin Bannon, known as Kev to his friends and family, was riding his motorbike on the East Lancashire Road on the morning of May 9 when he was hit by a bin lorry
A man has been left devastated after his "brother from another mother" tragically died in a collision on the East Lancs Road.
Following the incident, the bin lorry driver involved stopped to assist police with their inquiries. In connection with the crash, a 33 year old man driving another vehicle was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drugs.Kev's bereaved loved ones are now preparing to bid him farewell with a fitting tribute later this month.
Jay shared his feelings of solitude without Kev, saying: "I feel lonely without him. Whenever the sun was shining we went out, and we either spoke or saw each other every day. He was really involved with my family and my kids are just torn up about it. Kev, who lived in Anfield and was a factory manager, had a passion for biking and gym-going. His passing has left his parents and two sisters heartbroken.
