According to traffic management system Inrix, the East Lancashire Road eastbound is closed. There is also slow traffic due to the crash between Willow Way and A5207 Moorgate Road .
Eyewitnesses said Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue and North West Ambulance Service are all at the scene.
