If you don't do the job, it's easy to assume a receptionist might sit on a comfy chair all day taking calls, but Dorset-based reception manager Chris says her job is anything but sedentary.
Most sandals, however, tend to dig into the skin while also offering very little in the way of foot support. FitFlops, on the other hand, are built for people who spend hours rushing around. Chris says the brand's Gracie Metallic Leather Back-Strap Sandals, £100, have changed her workwear wardrobe – and her daytime comfort – since she discovered them a few weeks ago.
Though the £100 price tag may be steep for some, they're built to last you a long time. Plus, it's hard to put a price tag on something you need to wear for hours and hours each day. Chris shopped the Gracie sandals in the gold colourway to suit her taste in jewellery and office uniform, but you can also find this style in black, tan, beige or silver.
