Arthur Joustra has listed the five things he always avoids because they cause so many illnesses and injuries
An A&E doctor has revealed the five things he would never do - including riding a motorbike and eating leftover food that's been out too long. Arthur Joustra, 25, started working as an A&E doctor at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham in June, 2022 and has seen his fair share of illness and injuries.
"The amount of things I’ve seen with arrythmias, heart attacks and death. There's just awful side effects to them. There is only one way to be safe and that is to avoid doing them." “I would never go on a motorbike with out any safety equipment and also feet on the dashboard are something I wouldn’t do as well.”
"Flip flops, sandals and even trainers on tougher climbs - it leads to twisted and broken ankles; one of the leading causes of mountain rescue being called out." "The amount of people who come in with E. coli infections and salmonella is horrible. If it has been out the fridge for more than an hour - put it in the bin."
