Watford hoping to conclude deal to sign striker Rajovic from KalmarWatford are hoping to conclude a deal for striker Mileta Rajovic with Swedish club Kalmar in the next 24-48 hours.The 24-year-old has been earmarked as the number one target in the club’s search for a new striker. The Athletic reported yesterday that Watford were hoping to conclude a deal for the 24-year-old striker in the next 24-48 hours.Rajovic, who has joint Danish and Montenegrin citizenship, is due to arrive in the UK today to undergo his medical, before completing a transfer worth in the region of €2million (£1.7m). The striker will sign a long-term contract which is expected to be a five-year deal.Watford plan to register the 6’4 frontman, who has scored seven goals for Kalmar in 20 league games this season, as soon as possible in order for him to be eligible to feature against Blackburn Rovers on Sunday.
